Banana Yogurt Smoothie

This banana yogurt smoothie is creamy, lightly spiced, and ready in about five minutes. It blends ripe banana, Greek yogurt, and milk into a smooth, satisfying drink with optional honey for extra sweetness.

Use ice for a colder texture and enjoy straight away. It works well as a quick breakfast, post-school snack, or simple one-glass refresher when you want something fast and filling.

Method

5m5m
  1. Add the banana, Greek yogurt, milk, honey, cinnamon, and vanilla to a blender.
  2. Blend on high for 30-45 seconds until completely smooth and creamy.
  3. Taste and adjust sweetness with a little extra honey if needed.
  4. Add ice cubes and blend briefly for a colder, thicker smoothie.
  5. Pour into a chilled glass and serve immediately.

Ingredients

  • 200 g Greek yogurt plain, low-fat or full-fat
  • 1/2 tsp Vanilla extract optional
  • 4-6 Ice cubes optional
  • 150 ml Semi-skimmed milk cold
  • 1 large Ripe banana peeled and sliced
  • 1 tbsp Honey optional, to taste
  • 1/4 tsp Ground Cinnamon

Notes

Use a very ripe banana for the best natural sweetness and smooth texture.
Swap milk for oat or almond drink if you prefer a dairy-light version.
Serve immediately; if needed, keep chilled for up to 12 hours and shake before drinking.
