Oreo Milkshake

This Oreo milkshake is rich, cold and seriously satisfying, with crushed chocolate sandwich biscuits blended into vanilla ice cream and chilled milk.

It is quick to make, easy to scale, and ideal when you want a dessert-style drink without any fuss.

Method

  1. Chill two serving glasses in the freezer while you prepare the shake.
  2. Break eight Oreo biscuits into rough pieces and reserve two for garnish.
  3. Add the broken biscuits, vanilla ice cream, chilled milk and vanilla extract to a blender.
  4. Blend for 20-30 seconds until smooth, thick and evenly speckled with biscuit crumbs.
  5. Check consistency and add a splash more milk only if needed, then pulse once more.
  6. Pour the milkshake evenly into the chilled glasses.
  7. Top with whipped cream if using, then scatter over the reserved crushed Oreos.
  8. Serve immediately while cold and thick.

Ingredients

  • 220 ml Whole Milk well chilled
  • 10 Oreo Biscuits plus extra crushed biscuits to garnish
  • 1 tsp Vanilla extract optional
  • Whipped Cream optional, to serve
  • 400 g Vanilla Ice Cream about 4 generous scoops
