Air Fryer Almond Courgette Cake
A moist almond courgette cake made in the air fryer with lemon, vanilla and a tender crumb.
These air-fried pork loin steaks are quick to prepare and packed with savoury-sweet flavour. A simple glaze of honey, mustard, soy, and garlic caramelises as the pork cooks, giving you crisp edges and tender slices.
Serve with crushed potatoes, green beans, or a crisp salad for a balanced meal. The method is straightforward, making this a reliable family dinner for busy evenings.
In a bowl, whisk the honey, Dijon mustard, soy sauce, garlic, smoked paprika, apple cider vinegar, black pepper, and salt until smooth.
Pat the pork loin steaks dry, then rub with olive oil. Spoon over half the glaze and coat both sides well. Leave to marinate for 10 minutes while the air fryer preheats.
Preheat the air fryer to 200°C for 3 minutes. Arrange the pork steaks in a single layer in the basket, leaving space around each piece.
Air fry for 6 minutes, flip, then brush with the remaining glaze.
Cook for a further 5–7 minutes until the pork is browned and cooked through (internal temperature 63°C).
Rest the pork for 3–5 minutes before serving so the juices settle. Spoon over any resting juices before plating.
