Air Fryer Boiled Eggs

Air fryer boiled eggs are a simple, hands-off way to cook eggs without waiting for a pan of water to boil. The shell heats evenly, giving dependable results once you find your preferred timing.

Use the shorter time range for soft centres, the middle range for jammy yolks, and the longer range for fully set yolks. A quick ice bath stops carryover cooking and makes peeling easier.

Method

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 135°C (275°F) for 2 to 3 minutes.
  2. Place the eggs in the basket in a single layer, leaving a little space between each egg.
  3. Cook for 10 to 11 minutes for soft-boiled, 12 to 13 minutes for medium, or 15 to 16 minutes for hard-boiled yolks.
  4. Transfer the eggs straight into a bowl of ice water and chill for 5 to 10 minutes to stop the cooking.
  5. Peel and serve immediately, or refrigerate for later use.
