  1. Heat olive oil and soften onion over medium heat for 8 minutes.
  2. Add garlic and tomato purée and cook 1 minute.
  3. Add tomatoes, oregano and a pinch of sugar, then simmer 25 to 30 minutes.
  4. Blend smooth if preferred and reduce to desired consistency.
  5. Season to taste and use hot or cool for storing.

  • 1 tbsp Tomato purée
