Baked Camembert with Garlic and Thyme
A warm, soft-centred Camembert baked with garlic and thyme, served with crisp ciabatta for dipping.
These quick flatbreads pair creamy Camembert with ripe pear, toasted walnuts and a light drizzle of honey. They make an easy French-inspired lunch or sharing plate.
Bake until the cheese is soft and bubbling, then finish with rocket for a fresh contrast.
Heat the oven to 200°C fan. Put the flatbreads on a baking tray and brush lightly with the olive oil.
Arrange the Camembert and pear slices over the flatbreads. Scatter over the walnuts, thyme and a pinch of salt and pepper.
Bake for 8–10 minutes, until the flatbread edges are crisp and the Camembert is soft and bubbling.
Drizzle with the honey and leave for 1 minute so it settles into the warm cheese.
Top with rocket, cut into wedges and serve immediately.
