Ginger Soy Glazed Salmon
Oven-baked salmon fillets brushed with a sticky ginger, soy and honey glaze, finished with spring onion and sesame.
These air fryer glazed salmon fillets are quick enough for a weeknight but still feel a bit special. The soy, honey and ginger glaze turns glossy and savoury-sweet while the salmon stays tender and flaky.
Serve with rice and green vegetables for an easy balanced dinner, spooning over any extra glaze from the liner.
Pat the salmon fillets dry and set them skin-side down on lightly oiled foil or parchment liners that fit your air fryer basket.
Whisk the soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, sesame oil, garlic, ginger and chilli flakes together in a small bowl to make a glossy glaze.
Brush half the glaze over the salmon, then air fry at 190°C for 6 minutes.
Open the basket, brush over the remaining glaze and cook for another 2–4 minutes, until the salmon flakes easily and the glaze is sticky at the edges.
Rest the fillets for 2 minutes, then scatter with spring onions and sesame seeds.
Serve with cooked rice and steamed or stir-fried broccoli, spooning over any glaze left on the liner.
Keep cooking
