  2. Roll out the puff pastry on a lightly floured surface.
  3. Spread the tomato sauce evenly over the puff pastry.
  4. Lay the bacon slices over the tomato sauce.
  5. Sprinkle the chopped spring onions and grated cheese evenly over the bacon.
  6. Starting from one edge, roll the puff pastry tightly into a log.
  7. Slice the roll into 2-3 cm thick pieces.
  8. Place the rolls cut side up in the prepared baking mold.
  9. Brush the tops of the rolls with the beaten egg.
  10. Bake in the preheated oven for 45 minutes, or until the pastry is golden brown and puffed.
  11. In a small bowl, mix the minced garlic, chopped dill, and yogurt to make a sauce.
  12. Serve the puff pastry rolls warm, drizzled with the garlic-dill yogurt sauce.

Notes

These rolls are best enjoyed fresh out of the oven while the pastry is still flaky and the cheese is melted. The garlic-dill yogurt sauce can be adjusted according to taste, adding more garlic or dill as desired.
