Ingredients

  • 5ml Paprika
  • 2 Tomato sliced
  • 30ml Olive Oil
  • 1 Onion thinly sliced
  • Water as needed for sauce consistency
  • 2 cloves Garlic minced
  • Chicken, to taste
  • 5ml Coriander ground

Method

  1. Marinate the chicken in a mix of garlic, cumin, coriander, paprika, and olive oil for at least 3 hours.
  2. Cook the chicken on a rotating spit or in a skillet until golden and fully cooked.
  3. Prepare the garlic tahini sauce by mixing tahini paste, garlic, lemon juice, and water until smooth.
  4. Chop fresh vegetables such as lettuce, tomatoes, and onions.
  5. Warm the flatbreads and lay them flat.
  6. Assemble the wraps by placing chicken, vegetables, and a drizzle of sauce on each flatbread, then roll them up tightly.
  7. Serve immediately or wrap in foil to keep warm.

Notes

For a more authentic flavour, allow the chicken to marinate overnight.

You can substitute flatbreads with pita bread for a different texture.

Add pickles or a sprinkle of sumac for an extra tangy touch.
