Easy BBQ Chicken Wraps

These easy BBQ chicken wraps are perfect for busy days when you want something fast, filling, and full of flavour. Juicy chicken is coated in smoky BBQ sauce, then wrapped with crunchy salad and a creamy finish.

Great for lunch, dinner, or meal prep, they come together in minutes and are easy to customise with your favourite toppings.

Ingredients

  • 1 Tomatoes diced
  • 1 cup Lettuce shredded
  • Salt, to taste
  • 1/2 Red Onion thinly sliced
  • Black Pepper, to taste
  • 500 g Chicken breast cooked and sliced or shredded
  • 3 tbsp Mayonnaise or garlic mayo
  • 4 large Tortilla Wraps
  • 80 g Cheddar Cheese grated, optional
  • 6 tbsp BBQ Sauce plus extra to drizzle

Method

  1. If using raw chicken, season lightly and cook until fully done, then slice or shred.
  2. Warm the cooked chicken in a pan and stir through BBQ sauce until glossy and hot.
  3. Warm tortilla wraps for 15–20 seconds so they become pliable.
  4. Spread a little mayonnaise down the centre of each wrap.
  5. Layer lettuce, tomato, and red onion on top.
  6. Add BBQ chicken and sprinkle with grated cheddar if using.
  7. Roll tightly: fold in the sides, then roll from the bottom up.
  8. Slice in half and serve immediately, with extra BBQ sauce on the side.

Notes

Warm the wraps briefly before filling so they roll neatly without tearing.

Add extra chilli sauce or jalapeños if you want more heat.
