- 4 Garlic Cloves crushed
- 2 tbsp Honey
- 1.2 kg Beef Short Ribs
- 2 tbsp Soy Sauce
- 1 tsp Smoked Paprika
- 2 tbsp Tomato purée
- 400 ml Beef Stock
- 1 Onion roughly chopped

- Season the ribs well, then brown on all sides in a heavy casserole.
- Add onion and garlic and cook for 3–4 minutes until softened.
- Stir in stock and tomato purée, cover, and braise at 160°C for 2.5 hours until tender.
- Mix honey, soy and paprika for the glaze, brush over ribs, then roast uncovered for 15 minutes.
- Serve with the reduced pan juices and mashed potatoes or buttered greens.
