Ingredients

  • 1 Onion finely diced
  • 120 g Mature Cheddar grated
  • 200 g Chestnut Mushrooms sliced
  • 300 g Egg Noodles
  • 150 ml Chicken Stock
  • 2 Garlic Cloves minced
  • 2 x 145 g tins Tinned Tuna drained
  • 200 ml Double cream

  1. Heat the oven to 200°C (180°C fan). Cook the noodles until just tender, then drain.
  2. Soften onion and mushrooms in a little oil for 6–8 minutes, then add garlic for 1 minute.
  3. Stir in cream and stock, simmer briefly, then fold through tuna and half the cheddar.
  4. Combine with noodles, transfer to a baking dish and top with remaining cheddar.
  5. Bake for 18–22 minutes until bubbling and golden, then rest for 5 minutes before serving.
