These Greek-inspired beef pita wraps combine smoky, spiced mince with a cool cucumber and tomato salad and a creamy roasted garlic feta sauce.

Cook the beef until well browned, warm the pitta breads and let everyone assemble their own wraps with plenty of fresh herbs and lemon.

  1. Warm the olive oil in a large frying pan over a medium-high heat. Add the onion and cook for 4–5 minutes until softened.

  2. Add the beef mince, garlic and smoked paprika. Fry for 8–10 minutes, breaking up the mince, until browned and cooked through. Season with salt and black pepper.

  3. Mix the feta, soft cheese, lemon juice and half the mint in a bowl. Add a splash of water if needed to make a spoonable sauce.

  4. Warm the pitta breads, then fill with the beef, cucumber and tomatoes. Spoon over the feta cream and finish with the remaining mint.
