Crispy Cornflake-Crusted Chicken Burgers
Crunchy air fryer chicken burgers with a seasoned cornflake crust, crisp bacon, lettuce, tomato and a simple mayo finish.
These air-fryer chicken thighs are coated in smoky Cajun seasoning, garlic and lemon before cooking until browned outside and tender inside.
Serve with chips, salad or rice for a straightforward dinner with plenty of flavour.
Pat the chicken thighs dry. Mix the Cajun seasoning, olive oil, garlic, lemon juice, salt and black pepper in a bowl, then turn the chicken through the mixture until evenly coated.
Heat the air fryer to 200°C. Arrange the chicken in a single layer, leaving space around each piece for the hot air to circulate.
Air-fry for 18–22 minutes, turning halfway, until the thickest piece is cooked through and the juices run clear. The centre should reach 75°C on a food thermometer.
Rest the chicken for 5 minutes, then serve with the juices from the basket and your chosen sides.
Keep cooking
