Experience the fusion of two classic desserts with this Spiced Apple Crumble Cheesecake. Featuring a cinnamon crumble topping and a tangy apple filling, this dessert is the perfect blend of richness and spice. The optional sultanas add a burst of sweetness that elevates the entire dish.
Ingredients
- 1 tsp Cinnamon
- 2 tsp Vanilla extract
- 2 tbsp Brown sugar
- 100 g Unsalted butter melted
- 200 ml Double cream
- 2 Apples peeled and diced
- 250 g Digestive biscuits
- 600 g Cream cheese
- 120 g Caster Sugar

- Crush the biscuits and mix with melted butter. Press into a tin and chill.
- Beat cream cheese, sugar and vanilla until smooth.
- Whip the double cream and fold into the cream cheese mix.
- Spoon onto the base and chill 4–6 hours.
- Cook diced apples with cinnamon and brown sugar until softened; cool.
- Top the cheesecake with the spiced apples (and crumble topping if desired).
Notes
Make it quicker: use store-bought stewed apples, then top with a handful of toasted oat crumble.
Serving tip: a spoon of crème fraîche or a drizzle of caramel is great, but keep it light.
