Recipe
Balsamic Glazed Brussels Sprouts
Roasted Brussels sprouts with a glossy balsamic and honey glaze, finished with Parmesan.
Roasting brings out the sweetness of the Brussels sprouts while bacon adds savoury crunch and Parmesan gives the finished dish a salty, nutty finish.
Heat the oven to 200°C (180°C fan). Trim the Brussels sprouts and cut them in half.
Toss the sprouts with the olive oil, salt and black pepper, then spread them cut-side down on a baking tray.
Roast for 20–25 minutes until browned and tender.
Meanwhile, fry the bacon in a dry pan over medium heat for 6–8 minutes until crisp. Drain briefly on kitchen paper.
Transfer the roasted sprouts to a serving dish, scatter over the bacon and Parmesan, and serve straight away.
